Much of the creek is solid rock bottom and then you will also find areas that are white river rock/gravel bottoms. Tall trees including elms, sycamore, cottonwood, hackberry, cedar, and pecans line the creek banks and create a magnificent beauty that words cannot describe. The creek offers pools of water year round and will have running water during rainy seasons and when the springs are running. In the rock beds in one area dinosaur tracks can be seen. The ranch has 4 ponds total strategically place with 2 inside the high fence and two in the low fenced area. Two water wells provide water for the cabin and can be used to fill the ponds. Sitting atop on hill is a replica of an old settler's cabin overlooking the creek area and a large food plot. Old rock fences can also be found in several spots on the ranch.
